Buenes Tardes Muchchos.
Mi Espanol es muy lento y pequeno por dos semanas but I still labor on and try to get my mouth around all of the new words.
Today is a bit of a lazy day and I can not seem to get my fingers to type what my brain is putting out. Things are going really well except for a couple of bloody whingers on course – I have to say that about 20% of Americans are sooo whiny. If an Aussie was to whinge like they do they would get the crap beaten out of then and I can tell you that at the moment it is surely tempting to do some American Bashing out loud. I really wonder how they could become a super power with the amount of complaining that they do… oh shit, I think I am starting to get the Americano bug.
Sandra and I are having a blast, during our Academic time we have gone to class, learnt to cook some Costa Rican food, learnt to Salsa, Merengue, and do other moves that have our hips shimiying independent of our spinal cord. Gone to play Futbal (where I got given more instruction in the 2 hr session than I have been given in my 29 years on earth, I kicked some ass) watched movies in the cinema (they have subtitles and only cost about 1700 colones or 3.40 American) shopped and studied more Spanish.
So far the experience is worth everything that we had to go through to get here.
I have to go to conversation club now, but I will blog tomorrow.
And Mum and Dad and Sandra – I miss you and I will jump on to Sandra’s email to send you an email tomorrow (I hope)
Hasta Manana
